I hadn’t done a lot of painting series that I particularly enjoyed until I worked on this series. These birds were painted as a gift for a friend’s wedding. Her wedding theme were birds, and in lieu of another toaster or set of dishes I offered something custom made. She requested table place cards based off of the free range feathers she had found through various sources. The result is this series of 21 birds ranging from barn owls to peacocks. Enjoy!
